 Welcome to ABC Golden Retrievers
Our trained adult Golden Retrievers are wonderful family companions that are raised in our home with children, other dogs and cats. Our dogs spend virtually all of their time loose in our home interacting with our family and guests. We are a "kennel free" home and we feel that the best way to produce a calm and well behaved family pet is for them to be treated as a family member during their training and socialization process. We only raise a few Golden Retrievers at a time in order for them to receive a maximum amount of attention and training time. Because we spend so much time training and socializing our dogs in different environments, (playgroups, sports games, restaurants, parks, airports, etc.), each dog is reliably off leash obedience trained in any new environment that they encounter. Our Golden Retrievers are also housebroken and have excellent house manners and car manners.

Iris is a calm and friendly female who is set to complete her training in early August. She was born December 13, 2010, so she will be nearing nine months old when she enters her new home. Iris has been raised in our home with our family. She is housebroken and has excellent “housemanners”, (meaning she does not jump, nip, chew, steal food, etc.). She is very gentle with children and she loves to play fetch and go to the dog beach. She does very well with other dogs of all sizes and she is good with cats. Prior to completing their training all of our dogs are spayed or neutered and receive hip and elbow screening through x-ray, eye and heart checks and a general wellness exam. Iris is current on her vaccines. Iris is doing very well with her training and will be fully off leash obedience trained prior to completing her training program in August. Iris is available as a trained family pet, but she also has the potential as a service dog if her adoptive family chooses to have us add additional training for service work. Harry is an easy going and sweet male who has the potential to do anything. He is a littermate to Iris, (above), and was also born on December 13, 2010. He is doing very well with his training and has completed his housebreaking and “housemanners” portion of the training. We are finishing up Harry’s off leash obedience training program and he will be ready to go into his new home in early August. Like Iris, he also loves children, cats, other dogs, playing fetch and going to dog beach. Harry would be an ideal family companion, but he is also available as a service dog if his adoptive family would like us to add additional training. Max and Molly are six moth old littermates that are nearing the completion of their training. They are both very outgoing and friendly and they are always enthusiastic about going to new places and learning new things. They both love the water and playing fetch, yet they are very calm in the house. Max and Molly are well housebroken and they are trustworthy in the house in regard to not chewing on things other than their toys. They are also wonderful with children and great with other dogs and cats. Both of Max and Molly's parents are OFA Excellent, elbows clear, heart clear and yearly CERF clear. Molly will likely be towards the middle of the standard at 60 pounds full grown, and Max will be towards the top of the standard at 75 pounds. Teddy is a calm and affectionate one year old male. He is neutered, his hip and elbow x-rays look excellent, his heart is normal and his eyes are normal. Teddy is finished with his training and ready to go into his new home now. Teddy is also a full sibling to our fall 2010 litter out of "Summer". We liked his litter so much that we repeated it.
