Marley

Marley is a one year old male. He is very easygoing and sweet and he loves all of the typical golden retriever things like fetching a ball and swimming. He is almost full grown, so he is a big boy, but he is very gentle and careful not to knock over my 2 year old daughter, even when he is playing fetch. He is great with the other dogs and is fine with our cats too. He is also very gentle in the house and has excellent manners with guests. Marley is darker golden, (red), and has a beautiful coat and nice headpiece. Marley will be medium sized for a male, (about 23 1/2 inches and 75 pounds), when he is full grown. He is almost as tall as he is going to get, but he will still fill out a bit more. Marley is available as a pet, but we can also add additional training for him to become a therapy dog or service dog. He would do especially well as a service dog for a child with autism because of his gentle and predictable temperament. Georgia - SOLD

Georgia is a very sweet 8 month old female. She is very calm and loves affection. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and she loves children. She is a medium sized female and should reach a maximum of 60-65 pounds when full grown. Georgia is Champion sired and has a nice pedigree. We now also have one "started puppy" available. This little guy is perfect for someone who wants a well bred companion with a fantastic temperament, but wants to do the training themselves. Below are a few benefits of our "started puppy program". Our "started puppies" are priced at $3,000, and are usually ready to go to their new homes at 16 weeks of age.

• Our "started puppies" are littermates to the dogs in our "trained adult Golden Retriever program", and their parents have excellent pedigrees and full health clearances in addition to a correct temperament.
• They are temperament tested by us, (trainers with almost 30 years of experience).
• They receive excellent prenatal care and proper nutrition.
• They are AKC registered, current on vaccines and microchipped

They also receive training and socialization while they are with us including:

• Crate conditioning
• Pre-housebreaking, (we start their housebreaking and have them loose in our home, but they still require that they be taken outside on a regular basis since they are puppies)
• Loose leash walking
• Puppy "play training" including sit, down, stay, come, crawl and roll over
• Socialization with children of all ages, other dogs, cats and farm animals
• House socialization in which they are raised in our home and are included in our daily activities
• Veterinary socialization in which they are positively handled by staff
• Car socialization
• In  public socialization

Our "started puppies" also come with an online training video series to help guide you through finishing your puppies training through off leash control, and unlimited phone and email support. The video series will cover:

• Crate training and housebreaking
• Proper socialization
• Puppy "play training" sit, down, come, crawl and roll over
• Loose leash walking
• Formal obedience - heel, sit, down, stay and come when called
• Transitioning your dog to off leash obedience
• Our philosophy of training a Golden Retriever
